Day 1 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park.
Breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, at 0830hrs pick up from your hotel in Arusha and travel two hours on good road to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch for a morning and afternoon Game drives in the park. Your professional driver who is also your tour guide will do his best to offer you the best service, showing you wild things as much as what the park offers. In this Wildlife area, expect to see animals such as Lion, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, hyena, eland, kudu, Cheetah, warthog, Blue and Vervet monkey, and more... About 450 species of birds have been recorded, although Tarangire Park is famous for herds of Elephant but also you will see HUGE baobab trees. Later before 1800hrs drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at lodge/camp booked on full board basis, FB, Lunch + Dinner.
Day 2 - Full day game drive in Tarangire National park
Early morning after breakfast we will drive to Tarangire National Park. In this region, Hemmingway often went on big game hunting safaris. After the formation of the national parks in 1970, they turned the seasonal marshes and the endless savannah that one sees today into, once again, profitable hunting grounds. Today however, cameras thankfully have replaced the elephant guns. The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round in which the herds often can reach an impressive number of 300 animals. The Tarangire River has water all year round and during the dry season, between July and October, many animals from the surrounding areas come to the river for drinking. If you visit the park during the dry season, you will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you can observe wonderful creatures such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests and zebras as well as various types of antelopes and gazelles and with a little luck, you can also spot a python! This area is during the dry season also a haven for bird watchers with over 550 different species including the Masai Ostrich -the world largest bird. Day 4 - Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation
Depart for Lake Manyara national park for full day game drive, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge
Day 5 - Full day Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After breakfast descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game drive, lunch at hippo pool picnic site; The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers an area of 8300 sq km, with a deep volcanic crater at its centre, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The crater is undoubtedly the ‘jewel in the crown’ - an area that is about 300 sq km in area, 600 meters deep and 20 km wide. The rim of the crater is an astounding 2286 meters above sea level. The floor contains a small soda lake called Lake Magadi and it is estimated that around 30000 animals live in the crater, making it the most intensive safari wildlife viewing area on earth. Ascend to the rim for dinner and overnight at your Lodge
Day 6 - Ngorongoro Conservation (option walking, maasai village).
Today you will have breakfast at your lodge, today you may opt to go for walking or visit Maasai Village, note that, if you decide to go for any activity should extra payment apply. You will have all meals and overnight at your booked lodge
Day 7 - Depart
This day after breakfast, drive back to Arusha onward to airport.
